When you visit the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Exmore the cans of paint and power tools might lead you to believe you’ve walked into a hardware store, but really, you’ve stumbled upon a unique thrift store. The ReStore is stocked with everything from couches and kitchen tables to hardwood flooring and windows.

Antique Stores

Antique stores on Virginia’s Eastern Shore are brimming with vintage collectibles, architectural salvage, fine art, furniture and decorative arts. You’ll also find one-of-a-kind pieces crafted by local artisans from days gone by. The Blue Crow in Painter, Virginia’s second largest antique mall, is packed with everything from collectibles and comic books to furniture and jewelry. If you love a good yard sale you won’t want to miss the flea markets on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. They’re like a town-wide yard sale packed into one building. You’ll find everything under the sun at a bargain price.

On Saturday’s, sellers and bargain hunters flock to Shore Flea Market in Temperanceville. A sea of tables stretches far and wide, each one stocked with an eclectic mix of clothes, toys, books, games, housewares and furniture. You can make a day out of browsing all the vendors and take a break for lunch at one of the food trucks on site when you get hungry.
