Blackfin is the food truck experience Chincoteague has been craving. A school bus transformed into a food truck, owned and operated by a local teacher-turned surfer-turned food truck entrepreneur, Blackfin is tailored to suit health-conscious individuals on-the-go. All of our sauces are made in-house (or in-bus...) and all of our dishes include fresh, local ingredients. We understand that price matters; if you’re tired of over-priced healthy options, Blackfin’s the place for you.

The owners and operators of Blackfin, Madison and Dave, met while surfing their local break- Assateague, VA. Twelve years and a school bus later- Blackfin was created.​

Their desire to serve the community they were born and raised in with high-quality, delicious food at reasonable prices led them to opening a food truck. As surfers, the ocean is their playground. They take pride in protecting the environment and are excited to use eco-friendly packaging and biodegradable supplies. ​

Blackfin is what happens when passionate surfers and foodies get together and decide to share their talents with the world. Everything is made fresh and ready to take on-the-go at your convenience.
