About

The Saxis Island Museum resides in a newly renovated 100-year-old country store. Many of our artifacts on display were used in the daily lives of Saxis watermen, shop keepers, etc. We are open every Saturday during the summer months. All other times, we are usually only 5 minutes away and will open up with a simple phone call. We feature a decoy carving demonstration on the front porch most Saturdays.
