Oyster Village Horse Island Trail

Area: Lower Shore

About

You will want to bring your binoculars here for birding. Enjoy The Nature Conservancy’s Horse Island Nature Trail located at the end of Sunnyside Road, Route 638. A kayak launch is available at the nearby marina. The back part of Travis Chapel was moved to Oyster from Hog Island after the great hurricane of 1933 as were several of the houses (see Off 13 by Kirk Mariner).
