Join the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance for its Woodstock 1969 tribute concert on Saturday, May 17 at 7 pm to hear songs by Jefferson Airplane, The Band, Joan Baez, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Richie Havens, Canned Heat, and more. Talented local musicians will perform for you at this special event to benefit the Chincoteague Combined School. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of a new sound system for the school’s auditorium.
At the Chincoteague Center - 6155 Community Drive on Chincoteague Island. Doors open at 6:30 pm; music begins at 7 pm. Free parking.
Admission is $10 for Adults and $5 for students/children 18 and under. Advanced ticket purchase is required.
