Join the Historic Main Street Merchants Association for our annual St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt on Chincoteague Island, VA.

Event Details

• Dates: Friday, March 20 & Saturday, March 21
• Cost: Free
• Ages: All ages welcome
• Registration: Not required

How It Works

Visit participating Main Street businesses and search for clues to solve a riddle while completing your playing card.

Once your riddle is solved and your card is complete, head to the finish line to enter the prize drawings.

Finish Line & Prize Drawings

• Location: The Ropewalk (upstairs)
• Date: Saturday, March 21
• Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Winners do not need to be present to win. Prize drawings will be held live in person and streamed on the Main Street Merchants Facebook page. Winners will also be posted after the event at chincoteaguemerchants.com.

Please note: the finish line is not open on Friday.

Playing Cards

Playing cards can be picked up at any participating business during the event. You may start and play at any time throughout the weekend.

Costumes & Extras

Costumes are not required, but they always add to the fun! Be sure to save your receipts from any purchases made at participating businesses during the event.
