The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge will celebrate the start of National Wildlife Refuge Week on Sunday, October 13th with a free, live-animal presentation in the Herbert H. Bateman Educational Center auditorium, 8231 Beach Road, at 1pm presented by Pocomoke River State Park.
This 45-minute program will feature a variety of scaly critters common to the Eastern Shore. Entrance to the refuge and program are free (as program is sponsored by the Friends of Chincoteague Refuge).
