Earth Day 50 at Kiptopeke State Park - 04/22/2020

Area: Lower Shore
National Trails and Clean the Bay Day

Celebrate 50 years of conservation efforts. The Chesapeake Bay Watershed is a vast and vibrant ecosystem that has witnessed the dawn of man, the birth of a nation and the perpetual evolution of civilization. The bay spans more than 64,000 square miles and its watershed covers parts of six states - Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia - and all of the District of Columbia. More than 18 million people live its watershed.

Do your part by helping clean our beaches, boardwalks, and trails. Gloves and bags will be provided.
