You're invited to the 5th Annual Open Farm Day at Brownsville Preserve in Nassawadox on Saturday, April 18th, 10:00 am-3:00 pm! This free, all ages event features guided nature tours, wagon rides, family activities, midday picnic lunch, and more! And we're celebrating 50 years of conservation at The Nature Conservancy's Virginia Coast Reserve!
Explore parts of the preserve that are usually closed to public access or do a little bird watching from our docks on Upshur and Phillips Creeks. Take a naturalist led stroll through native habitats or enjoy the beauty of the 1250 acre preserve from your seat on a guided wagon ride. Enjoy outdoorsy crafts or try your luck with our nature survival game. There's something for everyone! Many of the activities at this event are ADA accessible!
We hope you'll join the staff and volunteers* of The Nature Conservancy's Virginia Coast Reserve for one of our favorite spring activities!
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! For more information, please contact outreach & education coordinator, Margaret Van Clief at email@example.com or (757) 414-9227.
